Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) and Global Performance Testing International are proud to announce an official commercial partnership with a focus on improved and innovative content and resources for professional development of allied health professionals as we enter into a new future that involves technologies, AI and digital health.
The partnership co-ordinated between Katie Lyndon, Interim CEO of ESSA and Graham Dudley, Founder and CEO of Global Performance Testing International will see the integration of GPTQA training and accreditation as a foundation to support the industries move into applied solutions and integrated technologies.
Starting in 2026, ESSA members will benefit from GPTQA Level 1 “the skills and knowledge required to understand the rationale and outcomes of field testing on people” online course delivered from their essential LMS platform. The library will grow covering insights and learning around artificial intelligence, data interpretation, privacy, technologies and valid assessment protocols.
“The importance of practitioners to be talking apples for apples in the current and future environment of health and wellbeing cannot be reiterated strongly enough. As AI learns it needs reliable tuition and data so I applaud the team at ESSA for having the foresight to act on the known knowns and not wait to be reactive to global change” – Graham Dudley, GPTI CEO.
“As our industry evolves, ESSA is committed to ensuring our members have access to the tools, training, and knowledge they need to lead with confidence. This partnership strengthens our shared vision for a future where evidence, technology, and professional excellence work hand-in-hand to advance the health and wellbeing of all Australians.” Katie Lyndon, ESSA CEO.
Members will be informed of the first professional development resources in January and are encouraged to take time to upskill in areas that will be positively impactful to the exercise science, sport science and performance development industries now and into the future.
